I decided to keep all my biobraphical textes here without chaning its content. I found out that it is sort of history how I have been shaping my biography. Here you can follow how my biograohical notes was transforming. All pictures by Jakub Wittchen.

I was born in Poland in 1978, yet I spent many of my primary school years in Mexico. I began my professional dance career in Amsterdam, where I lived and worked from 2001-2011. In 2004, I graduated from SNDO with a BA in Choreography and a parallel MA in Cultural Management in Poland. I started to investigate improvisation in 2003, and over the following decade it became my primary creative interest. I have worked and performed music dance improvisation with such excellent musicians as Michael Zerang, Ken Vandermark, Andy Moor, Ab Baars, Wilbert de Joode, Rafał Mazur and Paulina Owczarek. My leading master teachers were Katie Duck and David Zambrano (I performed in his remake of Soul Project PL made for Polish dancers in 2013) . After I returned to Poland in 2011, I directed several dance pieces shown at international festivals (among others, the 2009 solo piece Zona Segura and Whisper in My Eye, a group performance produced in Mexico in 2015). In 2013, I co-founded the Dutch group Help Me To Crash, which focused on developing a unique language for music dance improvisation. The most important creative project to emerge from that collaboration is my work with Maria Mavridou and our improvised voice dance duet “No Sugar, No Candy", which we continue to perform today.

In 2012, I created an original platform for improvisation in Krakow under the name Free The Dance: a series of performances, curated evenings, cinema screenings and talks with artists around the subject of improvisation. With local artists and the Krakow Improvisers' Orchestra, I created a large project “KIO in Motion”, where I explored conducted improvisation in music and its application to dance. Over the course of the project, I invented several new hand signs to conduct the dancers. Currently, I am developing a series of workshops called Performance and Improvisation Practice (PIP) to further explore my deep interest in studying time and duration, as well as a new solo piece for pop singer Marta Mandaryna Wiśniewska. I have enjoyed the support of grants from the Ministry Of Culture and National Heritage, The City of Krakow Scholarship, The Excellence Scholarship for Foreigners from Mexican Government and the Adam Mickiewicz Institute.

Polish dancer and choreographer, influenced by and realeted with the Dutch free jazz scene, where in the last decade she was performing with such excellent musicians as Ab Baars, Wilbert de Joode, Andy Moor, Arnold de Boer, Colin McLean, Onno Govaert and John  Dikeman, among others. Graduated from the School for New Dance Development in 2004, she founded the Unfinished Company art collective which brings together international artists from different areas: contemporary dance, music, video-art, photography.

The artistic research, international residencies and guest performances at many festivals, including turing with solo work, have been leading Małgorzata through out countries as Netherlands, Cyprus, Spain, Germany, Japan, Brazil, Chile, Peru, Costa Rica, Israel, Hungary and Slovakia. She has been supported by Ministery of Culture and National Heritage in Poland and several times by the Adam Mickiewicz Institute – Polish Culture Worldwide program.

Małgorzata was the only Polish dancer among the 50 artists, who took part in famous project “50 days Costa Rica” led by choreographer David Zambrano, as well as she was the only Polish choreographer who directed unique dance project “Mr Instrument Instrument...” created in the frame of the Old Music New Dance Festival. She collaborated then with French virtous musicians Bruno Heltshoffer and Jean-Philippe Morel and the Polish legendary dancer Krystyna Mazurówna.

Małgorzata is constantly developing new initiatives and original programs – the latest are Film Tuesdays About Improvisation in Kino Kika (Kraków) and Free The Dance – series of music/dance performances in real time. Since 2009 till today she is also curating the Music/Dance 301 cycle in Amsterdam (Studio OT301).

In 2012, as important distinction, as the only dancer among more than 50 musicians from all over the world, she was invited to participate in the Kraków Jazz Autumn Festival.

The most prominent reference points of Małgorzata’s work are artists like Katie Duck, David Zambrano, Robert Steijn, Hooman Sharifi, Michael Schumacher, The EX and the scene of free jazz and improvisation. Her original dance language has crystallised over the years in projects as: guest choreography at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama in Glasgow, (Scotland 2007), choreographic project with a Peruvian theatre ensemble Deciertopicante (Tacna, Peru 2008), an international program DanceWeb (Austria 2009), Solo Project (Art Stations Foundation, Poznań, Poland 2009), and “50 days Costa Rica” – a master course and an intense creative process led by David Zambrano in Costa Rica.

After returning from Costa Rica, Małgorzata initiated a series of “5of50” projects and workshops focused on the musicality of the body and live music. She has started collaboration with the Polish musicians Artur Majewski and Kuba Suchar (Mikrokolektyw) as well with members of the Hera ensemble - Ksawery Wójciński i Paweł Postaremczak.

Małgorzata Haduch, tancerka /choreograf, absolwentka School for New Dance Development w Amsterdamie (dyplom 2004), związana z holenderską sceną free jazzową, gdzie współpracowała w ostatniej dekadzie z takimi znakomitymi muzykami jak Ab Baars, Wilbert de Joode, Andy Moor, Arnold de Boer, Colin McLean, Onno Govaert i John Dikeman. Dla Małgorzaty praca z improwizowaną muzyką na żywo wciąga do odkrywania mocnej, idywidualnej ekpresji, wymusza porzucenie kontroli i zamienia dźwięk w nową odchłań ruchu. Z jej inicjatywy w 2006 roku powstała grupa Unfnished Company, która skupia międzynarodowych artystów z różnych dziedzin sztuki (taniec współczesny, muzyka, video-art, fotografia). Unfinished Company realizuje przede wszystkim spektakle improwizowane, w których muzyka i taniec współistnieją jako jedna forma artystyczna, ich performance to spotkanie silnych osobowości, starcie się doświadczeń, energii i wyobraźni.

W ostatnich 8 latach Małgorzata Haduch wyreżyserowała kilkanaście spektakli, uczestniczyła w wielu festiwalach, a jej solo “Zona Segura” odbyło międzynarodowe tourne. Poszukiwania artystyczne Małgorzaty oraz gościnne występy prowadzily ją w przez takie kraje jak Holandia, Cypr, Hiszpania, Niemcy, Japonia, Brazylia, Chile, Peru, Kostaryka, Izrael, Węgry, Słowacja. Jej oryginalny język sceniczny krystalizował się przez lata, w trakcie których najważniejsze wydarzenia to kilkuletnia współpraca z amsterdamskim studio OT301, gościnna choreografia w Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama (wydział Contemporary Theater Practice) w Glasgow (2007), projekt choreografczny z peruwiańską grupą teatralną Deciertopicante w pustynnym miescie Tacna (Peru 2008), międzynarodowy program DanceWeb w Austrii (2009), Solo Projekt w Pozaniu (2009) oraz „50 days Costa Rica” – mistrzowski kurs oraz intensywny proces twórczy prowadzony przez kultowego choreografa Davida Zambrano w Kostaryce (2010). Wyjątkowym doświadczeniem było także wyreżyserowanie przedstawienia “Mr Instrument Instrument prezentuje: Wielka Inwencja na spragnione theorbo, uśpiony kontrabas i cztery tancerki” (2011). Projekt ten był zrealizowany na zamówienie Narodowego Instytutu Audiowizulanego w ramach Programu Kulturalnego Przewodnictwa Polski w EU. Spektakl powstał z udziałem legendarnej tancerki, Krystyny Mazurówny a muzykę skomponowali Francuzi wirtuoz lutni barokowej Bruno Heltshoffer oraz kompozytor jazzowy Jean-Philipe Morel. Premiera odbyła się na Fetiwalu Poznań Baroque.

W 2012 roku, jako wyjątkowe wyróżnienie, Małgorzata wystąpiła na Krakowskiej Jesieni Jazzowej, gdzie była jedyną tancerką wśród ponad 50 znakomitych muzyków z całego świata. Krakowska tancerka wystąpiła z wrocławskim duetem Mikrokolektyw. Współpracuje także z członakami zespołu Hera - Ksawerym Wójcińskim i Pawłem Postaremczakiem. Najnowsza inicjatywa Malgorzaty to autorski program, realizowany w Krakowie, FREE THE DANCE. Jest to seria performensów z udziałem muzyków-improwizatorów oraz tancerzy, sztuka improwizacji w połączeniu dwóch dziedzin artystycznych - muzyki i tańca współczesnego. Dotychczas w serii Free The Dance wystąpili razem z Małgorzatą: Michael Zerang- Chicagowski muzyk jazzowy, Rafal Mazur, Artur Majewski, Ksawery Wójciński, Tomek Chołoniewski, Michał Dymny, Dominik Borkowski, Paulina Owczarek, Lori Duncan, Przemek Kamiński i Magdalena Ptasznik.

W 2011 roku Małgorzata była stypendystką Ministerstwa Kultury i Dziedzictwa Narodowego oraz kilkakrotnie otrzymywała dofinansowanie z Instytutu Adama Mickiewicza - Program Kultura Polska Na Świecie. Od 2011 roku uczy regularnie techniki Davida Zambrano Flying Low oraz kompozycji Passing Through.
